Yesterday my friend Dan and I went on a little photo tour in the Magnetawan area. We came across these covered trees, which someone tried to make them look like reindeer. With the small church in the background I thought they appeared to be some strange, alien guardians. Anyway it made for a fun picture.

Was away from home turf for a couple of days. Just to comment on your Cumberland shot of a day ago, I really, really like it. Thanks for the plug in your commentary. I hope that you continue to keep us old darkroom survivors in mind down the road with occasional submissions.

You gotta love country folk eh? This church brings back a few memories for me, as I shot a wedding there many many years ago. The bride kept the groom waiting at the alter for 45 minutes!! He was a basket case when she arrived. Wonder how that worked out... Thanks, Dave
Actually they look more like roosters than reindeer...
Hope that groom has developed a sense of humour since - he's gonna need it!
