END OF AN ERA

Here in North Eastern Ontario we We are witnessing the end of a historic era. The railway is disappearing from the area. The railway tracks are actually removed so all that will be left are just a few remnants to remind us of the historical importance of the railway for this part of the country.

The railway was such a big part of the economy when I lived in North Bay. It's heartbreaking to see it going. Thank you for posting that photo. It is very poignant image.
