POMPEII EXHIBITION, ROM, TORONTO

Another exhibition we visited was the Royal Ontario Museum Pompeii exhibition  Its an excellent show which we really enjoyed. The story about the destruction of Pompeii and Herculaneum is of course well known but seeing all the different art works you simply have to marvel not only about the superb workmanship but also the magnificent creative aspect of the displayed art  objects.

Would like to see this exhibit, Mike.
Did visit there back in the spring of 1962, and the memories of that time still remain with me.
I like your photo.

On Wednesday, by the time I walked from Bloor to King to Spadina to the AGO and then 2 hours seeing the AGO exhibits including Turner, I was too pooped to go to the ROM, even though it was on my to do list. Enjoyed Turner and glad you got a chance to see Pompei.
