FALL GARDEN ABSTRACT

It rained today and of course every photographer knows that the rain will really intensify the colours. Walking in the garden, which is preparing itself for the Winter, I made a series of images of the decaying plants. It simply was a richness of colour and patterns forming some beautiful abstract compositions.

The colours are truly deeper after the rains. I've noticed in my excursions that the veining in the leaves seems to be more pronounced with the onset of the autumn colours and decaying. This is a great time to photograph fauna. Nice shot, Mike.

Thanks John, yes I find the best time for making Fall pictures is on overcast and rainy days.
